Visiting Information
The gardens are accessible by car with ample parking available on site. Public transport options include the MyCiTi bus route to Constantia Village, from which the garden is a 15-minute walk.
Visitors with mobility requirements should enquire in advance about accessible pathways. While much of the garden traverses natural terrain, several routes accommodate wheelchairs and mobility aids.
Photography for personal use is permitted throughout the gardens. Commercial photography and filming require advance permission and may be subject to fees.
Group Visits
Groups of ten or more visitors should book in advance to ensure adequate staffing and avoid capacity constraints during peak periods. Educational groups from schools and other institutions may qualify for reduced admission rates.
Corporate groups seeking team-building experiences or exclusive venue hire should contact our bookings team at least three weeks before the intended date. Catering services can be arranged through our preferred suppliers.
Research Enquiries
Researchers seeking access to our collections or facilities should submit proposals outlining their project scope, methodology, and expected outcomes. Our scientific committee reviews submissions monthly and responds within two weeks of each meeting.
Herbarium specimens and seed bank materials are available for loan to recognised institutions under standard botanical exchange protocols.
Response Times
We aim to respond to all enquiries within two business days. During peak seasons and immediately following public holidays, response times may extend to five business days.
